What we believe. |
Come and Worship. |
We are a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. As an LCMS congregation we teach and respond to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments. The three person of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God. Read more about our beliefs here.
Get involved."And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds" - Hebrews 10:24.
There are many ways to get involved in and with our congregation, from ushering to after service fellowship to teaching a Sunday School class. Working together, we encourage one another to continue to attend worship. We also volunteer out in the community through serving at the House of Compassion and other charities. |
Church is for sinners. We worship together to receive the Word of God and the forgiveness of sins. Worshiping together is faith building and encourages each person to be faithful as well as grow in fellowship towards one another.
We follow a traditional-style service - aka divine service - and take communion the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sundays. We also offer Wednesday evening services and weekly bible study, Sunday School, and catechism. Learn more about our church services here. Give.We encourage stewardship and giving of time, money, and talents from our congregation. There are a variety of ways you can give through tithing, endowment giving, volunteering and more.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:7 |
